new year :)

i spent my 12 am watching fireworks in the company of the big bear, which was really nice :) and there were so so so so so so many people ard too.

and as i walked home (at abt 2 am and there was this bangla who tried to shake hands with me and tt freaked me out ALOT), i cldnt help but feel happy. happy because 2008 has ended on a good note after all, and happy because 2009 seems like the start of something new.

for all the rubbish that has happened in sucky sucky horrible 2008, 2009 would be a better year. and i cant wait for this better year to happen. i cant wait for things to get better. and i cant wait for myself to get better.

i havent let go of things (as i recently realised). but at least im recovering, at least im not sulking all day now. and i hope in this new year, with more school involvement, with more motivation (because my results told me im nt tt CMI).. perhaps i'll be happier. and perhaps its time to be happier :) and perhaps its time to admit that there are just some things and people more important in life than pursuing my own dreams :) because the world doesnt revolve ard myself :) we shall see :)
